Badger
My dog, Badger, has a rags-to-riches story that took him from living in a hoarder's house along with 135 other dogs to being spoiled rotten together with my other dog, also a rescue. Although Badger still has occasional PTSD episodes where he acts out, he has all but shed his old feral self for his new loving version. I credit the staff at WTDC and especially Kaylin for getting Badger past the trauma he endured as a hoarder's dog. Pictured is Kaylin giving Badger his first ever bath in our backyard after very patiently and lovingly "trapping" him given his aversion to being touched, much less, handled. Many months later, Badger is on Santa's lap asking, and getting, what he wants and more. Badger's a Good-Boy in large part to Kaylin, Lauren, Rylan, Julia, Erik, and even Banjo who just wants to be Badger's friend!
